Religious Education
Our RE Curriculum aims to give pupils the knowledge required to gain a deep understanding of a range of religions including Christianity, Islam and Hinduism.
We strive to make explicit links between belief and how people live from day-to-day. We aim to provide opportunities for children to be able to use this knowledge confidently to ask and discuss important questions about religious belief in the context of the wider world.
We aspire to provide pupils with the tools they need to have these discussions using a higher level of subject specific vocabulary. In a rural and somewhat isolated rural area, we hope that our curriculum will enable pupils to develop into responsible, well informed citizens with an appreciation of diversity, not only within our local community, but also in the world outside of Binbrook.
